Magnaflow Cat-Back Exhaust System for Mazdaspeed 6
The Mazda MAZDASPEED 6 system was engineered to deliver the maximum performance without intruding upon the comfort and drivability of the car. In the development of this system, the factory “tip in fascia” look is replaced by a traditional large bore tip completing the rear of the vehicle with a true exhaust outlet.
System Features: - 2.5” Stainless Steel Mandrel Bent Pipe
- (1) Tru-flow Y-pipe
- (2) 5x8x14 (2.5” core) high-polished mufflers
- Dual 4" slash-cut polished stainless steel double-wall tips
Nice and grown up exhaust
I was looking for quiet, yet flows better than stock with a nice sound. This was perfect. Great for daily driving with a deep base sound that's now obnoxious on high way and for daily driving. Highly recommended if you're looking for something quiet with a deep base. Not recommended if you're looking for a loud exhaust.
I bought this exhaust about a week ago and I was expecting a little but more from it. Exhaust was easy to install and does sound better then the stock exhaust. I was expecting it be a little louder, so of you're looking for an exhaust that just a tad bit louder with better flow go with this one. But if you're looking for something much go with another system. I mainly bought this system due to the price and good reviews but installing it and feeling it out, I would have much rather spent the extra money on a corksport or other 3 inch exhaust system.
This was my first exaust system for my speed 6 and was very unsure about what to get. You can only tell so much from some idiot reving his car on U-Tube. Going off of what RPM said and the price I went with the Magnaflow. Install was very easy. The product is well built with nice pipe bends and good clean welds. The sound is a nice growl at idle with not much louder then stock at a highway speeds. Definitely a head turner at the red light on a sweet ride, no more sowing machine whisper. I saved the best for last, the power on just adding the pipes is incredible. I am not fully bolted yet but close, (need turbo, exhaust manifold and down pipe) all controled by a Cobb access port (the key to the whole puzzle). After a retune with the Cobb after install and no other changes this car definitly made a lot more power. More off the line, accross the full range and at the top end. The car pulls hard in 6th gear at 80 mph like it did stock in 3rd. After buying produts let the rest of us know, to many produts with no reviews.
