The cp-e™ Stage III short block is the ultimate setup for high horsepower performance and reliability. This will take whatever you throw at it. The larger bore allows for more low-end torque, the ductile iron sleeves are strong and ensure the best in reliability, the cp-e™ Stage 3 pistons are one of a kind, designed specifically for this application. This is the ultimate MZR short block.

All cp-e™ MZR blocks are precision machined to our spec and hand assembled with utmost care and attention. Each block is carefully blueprinted, balanced and assigned a unique serial number. All specs are carefully tracked and verified throughout the build

Stage III block is bored out to 2.4L spec with ERL engineered ductile iron sleeves.  The MZR blocks are precision machined to accept the new sleeves, sleeves are pressed in, and then the assembly is machined to proper deck height to ensure a tight sealing surface between the block and cylinder head. The Stage III short block comes with cp-e™ state-of-the-art Stage III pistons, all assembled with K1 rods. ARP main studs are included. cp-e™ uses performance main bearings and their Tri-Metal rod bearings are specially coated with a Teflon based coating offering reduced friction and wear.

Each motor comes with full documentation and a spec sheet. A full engine gasket set and ARP head studs are available as well.

The core charge will be automatically added to your order. It will be refunded once we receive your original short block core in good condition. Please review the core requirements to make sure you have a good short block core.

Core Requirements:

• Inspect sleeves for cracks
• All main bolts and main girdle must be included
• It must be properly packaged with protection on all sides
• Please clean off as much oil residue as is possible
• Remove all accessories (anything that is attached to the engine)
• Leave anything internally on the engine as a part of the core.

cp-e™ offers a lifetime warranty on all cp-e™ products. However, this warranty does not include short blocks or cylinder heads.
