Just installed this in my 2005 Mazda RX8, it was quick and easy. The bluetooth adapter works great, also hooked up my satellite radio in the AUX port and play it crystal clear. Highly recommend it.

Installed this in my wife's 2007 Mazda5 and it works great. Exactly as advertised. The integration is clean and I did not need to do any drilling or major disassembly.

Installation took me roughly 2 hours, and I did have to consult some 3rd party installation guides (such as the ones for Mazda accessories and from Crutchfield). But, once I figured out how to remove the necessary parts from the center console, it was quite easy.

For access and convenience, I mounted the integration module in the back of the glove box, instead of behind the head unit. The sound quality can be a bit harsh, but certainly better than FM receivers or a lot of Bluetooth kits.

I can even use the integration kit with an iPhone 5s using a 30-pin to Lightning adapter. It charges the phone, and during playback I can use the steering wheel and dash controls (haven't explored beyond basic forward-back and pause).

While not as fully functional as Bluetooth, it does exactly what it's supposed to do -- bring the audio from your iOS device to your car, even if it lacks analog inputs or factory Bluetooth support. Altogether, this is a great option for those of us with older cars and want some additional functionality at a reasonable price.

The product works great. I never thought I'd be able to integrate my iPod into my car stereo without having to pay the dealership, or some other company, large sums of cash. I paid a quarter of what the dealership wanted and installation took only a half hour, and that was because I was taking it slow being careful not damage my interior.
Fantastic!

Just got my Xcarlink with the Bluetooth add-on. Installed in minutes and worked perfect from start. Fantastic sound quality. I can both use the iphone interface with my iPhone 4 or pair with Bluetooth and use as handsfree as well as carrier for music without any cable connection (However you will need to attach the cable to charge the phone once in a while).

I tried to use it with the Spotify client on My iphone and it worked perfect, even to change track from the buttons on the steering wheel.
Flawless!

This thing works great!

I've been using an FM transmitter in my car and the sound quality is just horrible,

I saw the XCarLink and thought, "what the heck".

I bought a refurbished one and it didn't work. After emailing customer service they said the would send me a replacement. I asked if I could just drive up to their shop since they were 10 minutes away and they said no problem. I was in and out in a matter of minutes (nicest dude you'll ever meet). Got home, installed the new CarLink and it's worked ever since.

The aux cord works, and you still have control of the CD player when you're not using the XCarLink.

I've never taken apart my car to do anything, and through youtube and the rest of the interwebs I was able to install this thing with zero problems.

for a guide on how to take apart your head unit, check out this video.
