We get it; you like going fast, you love putting new parts in your car, but most importantly you want to keep things simple.  You could go get a big turbo kit, which includes the need for at least a new exhaust manifold, and a new downpipe.  To some that’s fine, and to others this is little too complicated.  Keep it simple and keep a stock turbo housing while also throwing down more horsepower and reliability than your application has seen yet!

The new cp-e Elevate is a stock turbo replacement including:

    • OEM compatibility – direct bolt on replacement for factory turbo
    • CNC billet compressor wheel- 65HTA billet wheel with 65mm exducer and 46.9mm inducer handling a max shaft speed of 171,000 RPM and rated at 43 pounds per minute
    • Handling 27psi of boost at max efficiency – 10psi more than the stock 17psi max rating
    • Rotating assembly balanced in 8 planes to HALF the factory imbalance values
    • New wastegate actuator with a 14psi spring – doubling the stock 7psi spring
    • Fully remanufactured turbo cores for like new condition
    • Lifetime Warranty (pending inspection by cp-e)
    • Made in the USA

This turbo has been designed to spool faster, yet handle more horsepower than the stock turbo.  You’ll also be able to boost higher than stock without losing the efficiency from the turbo.  The stock turbo can only hold 17psi before losing its efficiency.  The Elevate turbo brings that number up to 27psi to give more power capability to your engine.  This is brought from the improved inducer size on the compressor wheel which will allow more airflow and give a higher power capability.  The exducer size has also been increased to lower chances of turbo surge, and to give a more reasonable and faster turbo spool.  The turbo inlet has been bored out using a CNC in order to allow the new compressor wheel to fit into the turbo, and to work to its full potential.

The Elevatesupplies more than just additional power though; it provides more reliability and a more consistent wastegate actuation.  The improved balance rating throughout the rotating assembly provides you with a more reliable turbo.  Then with the improved actuator spring, the turbo will give more consistent boost pressures while allowing you to run higher max boost pressure.  All turbo go through pressure tests during their final stage of inspection and remanufacture.

The Elevateturbo will fit all L3-VDT Mazda 2.3L MZR DISI applications including the CX-7, MazdaSpeed 3, and MazdaSpeed 6.

Elevate your performance, Elevate™ your turbo.

Note: cp-e does not promise an upgraded turbo that will prevent the well-known “smoking turbo” issues on stock turbochargers.  This issue is a result of improper crankcase ventilation, and the problem can only be resolved with an improved crankcase breather system.  There is no direct feature in the turbocharger that can be improved or changed to correct this issue.  To prevent this issue, cp-e recommends that a proper crankcase breather system be installed and that all Mazda TSB procedures are followed.

Please note that a core charge of $680.00 will be added to your order.  Your original turbo must be returned within 45 days of delivery for this money to be refunded.

cp-e accepts MZR 2.3L DISI K04 turbos for a core refund. The turbo will be tested and inspected upon arrival and must meet spec according to cp-e discretion in order to be accepted. Failed or out of spec turbos will not qualify for a core refund and will not be processed. To ensure a core refund, please check the following:

    • Turbo must be an OEM Mazda part.
    • Turbo assembly must be in factory spec working order, if not – See your Mazda dealer or service center for warranty/repair work. Failed turbos are not accepted.
    • Factory internals, springs, wheels, and etc. are in the turbo – we do not accept turbos that have been tampered with.
    • The turbo should not be damaged, including: fittings and threads should be clean and undamaged, no stripped screws, or cracked/damaged housings.
    • Turbos without the stock wastegate assembly will not be accepted.
