Clutch Masters FX100 (Stage 1) Clutch for Mazda 6 s (3.0L)
Steel Back Heavy Duty Street System 70% over stock holding capacity
The FX100 (Stage 1) System uses the Power Plus I pressure Plate with the Steel Back organic disc. This clutch is engineered for heavy-duty street use. It is specifically designed for extended wear and additional clamping force for the enthusiast who has added an exhaust system, an intake system, up to 50hp NO2 upgrade, or other non-forced induction external bolt-ons. As with most Clutch Masters clutchs, the FX100 incorporates the Hi-Leverage pressure plate design and the steel back disc. It features only slightly increased pedal pressure (over stock components), longer life than stock, and normal clutch feel during engagement and disengagement for a very smooth operation.
Power Plus I Pressure Plate: - Hi-Leverage Design
- Precision Heat-Treated Single Diaphragm
- Re-Arched Diaphragm for Superior Disengagement
- Heavy Duty Straps
- Very High Clamping Force
- No Unnecessary Increase in Pedal Pressure
Heavy Duty Disc: - Special Heavy Duty Organic Friction Material
- Steel Back Disc
- Heavy Duty Sprung Hub
- Marcel Spring Wafer
OEM or Better Release Bearing, Pilot Bearing (if applicable), and Alignment Tool are also included! Steel Backed Materials for Long Lasting Reliability! Other manufacturers simply rivet the friction material to the disc. Clutch Masters takes it a step futher and first bonds the friction material to a steel backing. This improves thermal dissipation and structural integrity, eliminating common shredding and decomposition.

More grip as described. I would recommend to have AWR performance engine mounts installed on passenger, transmission and bottom rear due to the increased cripping power. With stock mounts, engine sways vigorously and car jerks with clutch engagement.
