The FX300 (Stage 3) System uses the Power Plus I Pressure Plate with the Steel Back Segmented Kevlar disc. This clutch is designed for the ultimate street enthusiast or weekend racer running a naturally aspirated car equipped with cylinder head work and/or hotter cams, or with a medium-boost turbo or super-charger, or up to 100hp NO2. The FX300 features only slightly increased pedal pressure (over stock components), long disc life, and smooth engagement.

Steel Backed Materials for Long Lasting Reliability!
Other manufacturers simply rivet the friction material to the disc. Clutch Masters takes it a step futher and first bonds the friction material to a steel backing. This improves thermal dissipation and structural integrity, eliminating common shredding and decomposition.
