I bought this for my 2007 mazda 3, nicely painted to match the color of my car. Installing it was easy as pie, I recommend this shark fin antenna to everyone, it's more stylist. Thanks RPM for this wonderful product!!!

Great antenna, stays on well, and decent paint-matching but mine needed a little compound on it to get rid of some wetsanding scratches. Other than that, great, but I don't use my radio much, seems to have good quality pickup though.

This antenna works perfectly with Australian 2013 Mazda 3. The picture on the website refers to it as Type I.



The colour matches perfectly with the car and the reception is great. I notice a slight decrease in the volume (only very slightly, almost unnoticeable). Don't forget we're only talking about normal FM radio, not some High-Definition radio where the quality is heaps better and matters a lot more.



No issue with coverage, I live 30km from Melbourne CBD and I go to and fro with no reception interruption.

I've had it on for about 2 months, so far the front part hasn't come off like the other reviewer. I followed the instructions carefully (used the hairdryer prior and no contact with water for a week). Hopefully it'll stay on.



Took 2 weeks to get the item prepped, then another 1.5 weeks delivered to Australia.

First Impressions were very good, paint matches perfectly. comes with hardware, integrated antenna. Nice! Install went easy and looks good.

However after the install I noticed that the base of the antenna isn't quite curved enough to seat evenly against the roof. Below the front of the antenna there is visibly more gap. The double-sided tape is thick and stretches to fill it but after 6 months I can see it starting to separate. VG customer service recommended silicone to fill the gap. I think a better solution would have been to revise the design just a little to make it fit better. I haven't had any issues with it coming off - the tape seems extremely strong, but it bugs me how it doesn't quite fit as well as I'd like it to.
