The AVElectronic Navigation Video Multi-Switch System allows you to transform your Navigation System display into a multimedia display. Additionally, it allows you to transmit that same image to up to 3 other external monitors.
The basic system includes one S-Video input (with audio), 3 RCA inputs (with audio) and 3 RCA camera inputs (without audio) including one that functions as an automatic reverse camera (with detection wire)!
The unit also includes a small wireless RF remote control. With a press on button 5 on the RF Remote, user can select between the factory Navigation System and the Navigation Video Multi-Switch System source to be shown on the Navigation Screen. The navigation system still works in the background when you switch to the video switcher system (Navigation voice guidance will come on when it's supposed to).
Optional features include a TV tuner and an E-code function (to send navigation screen to the 3 external monitors).
Installation in the Mazda 3, Mazda 6, or Mazda RX-8 involves cutting only 4 wires.
NOTE: This unit will switch between audio inputs, but does not feature integration with the factory headunit. The audio-out on this unit can be input into an aftermarket headunit, or into a device such as the AudioLink that provides an audio input into the factory headunit.
